Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, seeks an Associate or Full Professor (non-tenure clinician educator track) to serve as Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• ABA certification with subspecialty certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Pennsylvania licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: mentor faculty and staff in the division for academic advancement.
• Clinical: provide clinical anesthesia and medical direction in cardiac ORs and other locations.
• Division Chief oversees clinical activities and collaborates with enterprise leaders to optimize operations.
• Support research programs and coordinate with department leaders to advance research missions.
