Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh seeks a Division Chief of Hematology and Cellular Therapy to lead a growing HSCT and CAR-T program with a strong focus on clinical and translational research, patient care, and accreditation.

The role involves strategic leadership, mentorship of physicians and fellows, and collaboration with AHN Cancer Institute leadership to advance standards of care and program development.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
• Completion of an ACGME-approved Hematology/Oncology Fellowship.
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment.
• 7+ years of experience in hematology/oncology.
• Significant experience in cellular therapy and hematological malignancies.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication.

Responsibilities

• Articulate a vision and lead a collaborative team.
• Oversee all clinical, operational, and accreditation activities of the division.
• Mentor physicians, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in cellular therapy program activities and research.
• Advance quality metrics and value-based care initiatives.
• Lead research and investigator-initiated trials.
