Position Summary: This position will serve as Chief of the Division of Geriatrics and Director of the Center for Aging and Health. The division chief is a leader in academic practice and promotes expertise in research, medical education, complex clinical care, and quality and safety. Responsibilities include administrative, clinical, research, and educational duties. Candidates should have a proven track record of productivity in basic and translational research, clinical research and/or clinical trials, and demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills needed to manage a multifaceted academic division and center.
Minimum Education and Experience: MD Degree.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Board certification in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics; demonstrated leadership skills; excellent communication skills.
Campus Security Authority Responsibilities: Designated as a Campus Security Authority; required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training.
