Job summary

UCSF Fresno and Inspire Health are seeking a Division Chief for the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Division. The position is full-time at Associate or Full Professor rank, with UCSF faculty appointment commensurate with background.

Responsibilities include leading the GI/Hepatology Division, patient care, teaching Residents and Fellows, performing endoscopic procedures, and overseeing clinical research. The program is based in Fresno, CA, with a strong focus on education and patient care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) required.
• Board certified in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for California medical license and obtain prior to hire.
• Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a growing GI & Hepatology Division, including 6 GI Fellows.
• Provide patient care and supervise Residents and Fellows.
• Oversee Endoscopic procedures and clinical research.
