Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Fire Science, Public Administration, Emergency Management)
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive fire service experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or command-level experience
• Licenses and Certifications: Florida Class E Driver's License, Firefighter, EMT/Paramedic, Fire Safety Inspector I, Fire Investigator, Fire Officer II (minimum)

Responsibilities

• Oversee Community Risk Reduction (CRR) initiatives and division leadership
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and departmental policies
• Align CRR efforts with risk-based, data-driven practices
• Serve as a member of the department’s executive leadership team
• Report to the Fire Chief and provide strategic direction for prevention and education programs
