Job Title: Division 8 Glass and Glazing Project Manager

Location: New Jersey or Remote (EST )

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Glass and Glazing Project Manager to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in managing the full range of Division 8 glazing projects, overseeing the installation, scheduling, and coordination of glass and glazing systems for commercial properties. This role will also involve managing subcontractors, ensuring project timelines are met, and stepping in as a backup for estimating when needed. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of storefront glazing, project management experience, and familiarity with the necessary software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage the full glazing package for Division 8 projects, ensuring timely, on-budget completion of commercial glass and glazing installations.

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Work closely with general contractors to schedule, track, and adjust timelines for glazing installations. Ensure all project deadlines are met and that work proceeds smoothly.

  • Subcontractor Oversight: Coordinate with subcontractors for supply and install of glass and glazing systems. Manage performance to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.

  • Estimating & Budgeting: Provide backup support for estimating on glazing projects. Work with estimators as needed to ensure that bids are accurate, competitive, and reflective of project requirements.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor the quality of installations, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

  • Client & Vendor Relations: Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues that arise during the course of a project.

  • Software Utilization: Use AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Glazer Studio, and Logikal for project planning, design, and documentation. Keep accurate records and documentation for all projects.

  • Remote/On-Site Flexibility: While an onsite presence is , we are open to candidates within 30-50 miles of the office location. Remote work options are also available, but the candidate must be located in EST or willing to work in EST hours.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in glass and glazing project management, with a strong understanding of commercial storefront glazing.

  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Glazer Studio, and Logikal .

  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain schedules, control budgets, and ensure quality results.

  • Subcontractor Management: Experience in overseeing and managing subcontractors to ensure proper execution of project plans and standards.

  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

  • Location Flexibility: Preference for candidates within a 30-50 mile radius of the office, though remote work may be considered.

  • Work Hours: Must be willing to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
