Precision Walls is seeking a Division 10 Project Engineer to join our team in North Carolina. The role supports a Project Manager on large projects, combines contract management with site coordination, and emphasizes reading blueprints, quality control, and budget awareness.

You will assist in submittal packages, takeoffs, and schedule management while interacting with field teams to maximize productivity and on-time delivery. A growth mindset and strong communication are essential.

• Experience in commercial drywall construction is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Project Manager on large jobs.
• Prepare contracts on site coordination and quality control.
• Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Review contracts and keep projects on target.
• Manage labor and materials; assist in ordering and tracking.
• Prepare submittal packages and takeoffs; assist in budget establishment.
• Monitor project schedule to meet deadlines; support field operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• This position will also assist a Project Manager on large jobs
• The Project Engineer will be responsible for contract preparation on site coordination quality control and all other aspects of contract management
• Responsible for reading blue prints and interpret specifications
• Responsible for contract review and keeping the project on target
• Responsible for labor and material management
• Assists in ordering and tracking materials
• Assists in interpreting & submitting RFIs and any other changes to contract drawings specifications andor scope of work
• Assists in developing submittal packages per contract specifications
• Assists in the complete accurate takeoffs and establish budgets
• Assists in monitor and maintaining project schedule to meet or beat deadlines
• Assists in attending to day to day needs of the field to maximize production
• Other duties as assigned
