Precision Walls: Division 10/12 Sales/Estimator

Precision Walls has an exciting opportunity for a Division 10/12 Sales/Estimator to join our team! The Sales Estimator for Division 10 and Specialties is responsible for working with engineers’ and architects’ drawings to prepare comprehensive cost lists, including labor, materials, equipment, and specialty items needed to complete projects. You will play a key role in the sales process by preparing accurate, competitive estimates for specialty construction materials, furnishings, and equipment. Your main duties include analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and client needs to develop detailed estimates aligned with company pricing strategies and profitability goals. A thorough understanding of Division 10 (Bathroom Partitions & Grab Rails) and Division 12 (Blinds), including market trends, vendors, and pricing structures, is essential.

  1. Estimate project costs accurately by analyzing materials, labor, and equipment requirements for bids and proposals.
  2. Collaborate with sales, project managers, and stakeholders to develop customized client solutions.
  3. Ensure timely submission of proposals matching client specifications and deadlines.
  4. Clearly communicate scope of work, pricing, and value propositions to secure new business.
  5. Engage effectively with vendors for product info, lead times, and technical specs.
  6. Participate in customer entertainment activities.
  7. Follow up post-proposal to gather feedback and improve future estimates.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Strong work ethic with multitasking ability.
  • Detail-oriented with an accounting mindset—"Know your costs".
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and technology.
