Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Diving Supervisor to join our Novi, MI or Lansing, MI office. This role applies advanced structural engineering know-how to complex projects, leveraging BIM technology and coordinating with project teams to deliver sustainable, high-quality solutions.

You'll contribute to design coordination, risk assessment, and technical problem solving, while collaborating with engineers and designers to meet client needs and standards across high-rise, industrial, and specialized

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent.
• Valid driver's license; MVR check required.
• ACDE Dive School Diploma or Military Diving Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Develops as a professional within specific domains of the field and continues to develop areas of expertise.
• Applies limited knowledge of standard practices, techniques, and procedures to moderate scope technical problems.
• Employee may be responsible for aspects of a project but is not yet a lead; final authority rests with a more senior staff member.
• Assists in developing alternate solutions and design options for project teams (e.g., white papers, code review).
• Provides analysis and develops reports, opinions, and recommendations with mentoring from senior staff.
• Communicates and collaborates with the full design team and others.
• Develops work products such as specifications, drawings and illustrative graphics from client input.
• Develops technical approach and criteria for a design element and analyzes complex issues.
• Coordinates work product for compliance with standards and identifies risks or problems.
