Job summary

Singing River Health System Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking a Diversified Technician to provide basic nursing care under RN supervision. The role includes routine clerical duties and collaboration with the nursing team to follow care plans and infection control guidelines.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with CNA program completion preferred. Hospital experience and de-escalation training are beneficial, with orientation and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program preferred.
• Hospital / healthcare experience and/or on the job training may be accepted in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care per a plan of care established by an RN.
• Perform routine clerical and receptionist duties as designated by the Nurse Manager or RN.
• Adhere to the CDC Infection Control Guidelines and hospital policies.
