Job summary

Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Diver 3 in Chesapeake, VA with a professional diving background. The role involves underwater tasks, pier-side, inland, or offshore operations with potential worldwide travel on an emergency basis. Full-time or rotational schedule expected.

Candidates must meet diving qualifications, maintain certifications, and pass medical and legal requirements. This position offers hourly pay with travel and safety responsibilities central to the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional diving school.
• A minimum of two years of actual underwater work experience.
• Ability to pass the Diver 3 written test with a score of at least 80%.
• Demonstrated diving ability and preferably 50 or more working dives.
• Ability to travel worldwide, on short notice for indefinite periods.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish all tasks assigned by the Diving Supervisor.
• Read, understand, and comply with Phoenix policies and government regulations for diving operations.
• Maintain and test diving equipment; report defects to the Diving Supervisor.
• Record medical treatments and fitness to dive in the logbook.
• Remain alert for safety of others and follow safe diving practices at all times.
• Assist in training new personnel or tenders.
