Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Quality Analyst 2 in Cary, NC to join the Outdoor Team. You will lead verification and validation for next-gen outdoor products, with scuba focus, including hands-on dive testing and collaboration with beta testers worldwide.

The role requires strong QA fundamentals, the ability to design test plans, and effective communication with product owners. Travel to ocean sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4 years QA experience.
• Experience with software quality assurance processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Open Water Dive Certification or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across SDLC for Garmin products.
• Design moderate-to-significant test plans and cases.
• Act as voice of customer in design reviews.
• Conduct usability tests and report results to product owners.
• Document defects and coordinate with developers.
• Analyze results and communicate with stakeholders.
