Trystar is seeking a Distro Assembler – Small Build for 1st shift in Faribault, MN. You will join a high-volume manufacturing environment assembling portable and permanent power distribution components and cables safely and accurately.

Key requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in manufacturing, ability to read English, lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Trystar offers benefits and an equal opportunity workplace.

• Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Badge in and out of active job orders on the production floor.
• Read, comprehend, and execute SOPs to safely operate equipment and tools.
• Complete and maintain required Pre-Assembler paperwork.
• Maintain and safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Perform and document quality control checks to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Trystar’s Pre-Assembler position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider.

The Pre-Assembler proficiently assembles various high quality portable and permanent power distribution components and cable assembles in a safe manner within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

In this role you will get to:

• Review and understand job orders and interact with Epicor, by properly badging in and out of active job orders on the production floor.
• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to safely and properly operate the equipment and tools required to assemble the product.
• Must understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork related to Pre-Assembly tasks.
• Maintain and safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Perform and document required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect components and sub-assemblies being produced.
• Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to effectively use a tape-measure, perform simple mathematics.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
• Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
• Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.
