Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between teachers, administrators and the Office of Curriculum and Instruction
• Support the Office of Curriculum and Instruction's goals in the areas of: Improved student performance
• Integration and alignment of curriculum aimed at student achievement of the PA Core Standards
• Consistent and intentional processes and protocols
• Work with the Curriculum and Instruction team to set goals for the school year based on needs identified by grade level team
• Schedule and conduct regular grade level/subject area meetings and arrange for minutes to be recorded and submitted to the Office of Curriculum and Instruction
• Facilitate grade level meetings to address curriculum, assessment and instruction to support District Vision and Comprehensive plan
• Facilitate discussions with grade level team to share best practices and collect effective strategies
• Meet with Curriculum Coordinators and Director/Supervisor of Curriculum at scheduled times to: Discuss the curriculum cycle process and other program aspects
• Enhance cross-curricular articulation and grade-level transitions
• Discuss program continuity
• Recommend and prioritize grade level needs to inform professional development planning
• Examine data from state and local assessments that affects the design and implementation of services and programs
