Job summary

Sahuarita Unified School District is seeking a Student Services Roving Inclusion Assistant to support students with complex needs across multiple sites. Under teachers and administrators, you will help implement general education/504 plans, medical and behavior interventions, and ensure students receive necessary academic and social support.

The role requires flexibility to travel between district sites, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or paraprofessional exam preferred.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance for employment.
• CPR/First-Aid certification required before start date.
• CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within 6 months.
• Valid Arizona driver's license; ability to travel between sites.
• Experience with assistive technology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with complex needs.
• Assist with 504 plans, health plans, and behavior plans under direction of staff.
• Support behavior management and social skills development.
• Collaborate with teachers to include students in classroom activities.
• Maintain records of student progress and incidents; communicate with team.
• Travel between multiple educational sites and operate assistive tech devices.
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring safety and dignity.
