Hackensack Public Schools seeks a Teacher Leader for Multilingual Education to support K–12 initiatives district-wide. The role focuses on leading professional learning, data conversations, and collaborative planning to strengthen instruction and MTSS implementation.

The Teacher Leader will coordinate data reviews, guide teachers through evidence-based practices, and help align curriculum with New Jersey standards while connecting multilingual learners to district priorities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid New Jersey instructional certificate.
• Strong knowledge of district curriculum and NJ standards.
• Experience with data-informed instruction and MTSS.
• Ability to analyze student data and translate to instruction.
• Experience leading PLCs and collaborative planning.
• Commitment to professional growth and MTSS training.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead structured data conversations using district protocols.
• Guide colleagues in reviewing student data to inform instruction.
• Facilitate PLCs and department meetings.
• Provide agendas and planning materials for meetings.
• Support MTSS implementation through professional learning.
• Collaborate with Reading Specialists and multilingual staff.
• Document time and planning activities for review.
• Coordinate across buildings and grade spans.
