Qualifications

• Valid Maine RN license.
• School Nurse PreK-12 certification preferred/required for long-term substitutes.
• Three years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the health and development status of students.
• Promote and maintain health and well-being through counseling and direct care.
• Support individual health plans for students with chronic conditions or disabilities.
• Collect and maintain confidential records within professional and district guidelines.
• Assist Kindergarten through Grade 5 with various self-care, mental health, and developmental needs.
