Job summary

Lakewood Township School District is seeking a School Psychologist to support the Child Study Team for district-wide special education identification, programming, and placement. You will perform psychological assessments, interpret results for parents and staff, and coordinate IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of NJAC 6A:14 and special education procedures.
• Maintain compliance with NJAC 6A:14 timelines.
• Familiarity with Board policies, directives, and State/Federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Child Study Team and Case Manager for identification, programming, and placement of special education students.
• Provide psychological assessments using psychometric evaluations, observations, interviews, and file reviews.
• Interpret assessment results to parents, team members, and staff to inform instruction and social-emotional approaches.
• Provide counseling according to IEP mandates and participate in professional development.
