Job summary

Williamsville Central School District is hiring a Custodian for the NYS HELPS District Wide program. Immediate start with 40 hours/week, schedule includes Tue-Thu 2:30pm–11:00pm; Fri 12:00pm–8:30pm; Sat 6:30am-3:00pm, in a district-wide East Amherst setting.

The role requires knowledge of cleaning and basic maintenance, and the ability to supervise staff. A valid NYS driver’s license is required; the district stresses equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or HSE with 1 year of cleaning/maintenance experience.
• Or 5 years of cleaning/maintenance experience.
• Valid Class 5 NYS driver's license at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain and repair school facilities and equipment.
• Supervise a small staff of cleaners and laborers as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures and report damages or needed repairs.
