Job summary

The Muscogee County School District is seeking a part-time Teacher and Leadership Development Administrator (49%) to provide district-level leadership and coordination for teacher induction, new teacher orientation, leadership evaluation, and summer learning programs.

The role reports to the Chief Academic Officer and requires a Master’s degree, Georgia Educational Leadership certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a job-related area is required.
• Georgia certification in Educational Leadership is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Routine physical activities are part of the role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates teacher and school leader evaluation processes with HR, Region Chiefs and school leaders.
• Leads induction programs for principals and teachers, including mentoring and onboarding.
• Coordinates new teacher orientation with district divisions and school leaders.
• Plans and coordinates the Summer Learning Program across divisions, including staffing and budget tasks.
• Monitors program effectiveness through data collection and stakeholder feedback.
• Prepares reports and recommendations for district leadership on teacher and leader development.
• Performs other duties to support district goals and efficient operation.
• Maintains confidentiality and facilitates communication among diverse groups.
