Munro Footwear Group is seeking a District Survey Manager in Great Falls, Montana. This senior professional land surveyor will oversee land survey operations and activities within the district. Position Title: District Survey Manager (26141373) – Great Falls, MT.
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a District Survey Manager in Great Falls. The District Survey Manager is a senior professional land surveyor (PLS) for the MDT. The position serves as the District’s technical authority responsible for directing and overseeing District land survey operations and activities.
• Plan, manage, and oversee District land survey projects; implement survey procedures and technology at the District level.
• Direct and monitor survey projects; oversee District survey program operations (supplies, contracts, etc.).
• Provide technical expertise and consultation.
• Report to the District Preconstruction Engineer (DPE) and work under the technical oversight of the Helena Photogrammetry & Survey Section.
• Supervise District Survey Unit staff; manage consultant term contract District survey work; provide technical oversight to other District survey crews.
• Assume responsibility for all district survey work performed under the PLS license.
Driver’s record will be verified. Successful applicants must sign a release form authorizing the Department to obtain the applicant’s permanent driving records. Compliance with Mont. Admin. R. 2.6.201, "State Vehicle Use," and MDT Policy #6.03.001, "State Vehicle Use Policy" are conditions of employment (if applicable).
