Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps and support multiple stores within a district. You will act as a Pharmacy Manager’s proxy, ensure safe dispensing, and coach staff to deliver quality patient care.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure, NPI, and willingness to travel; a strong focus on compliance, immunizations, and collaborative care with the patient’s healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Attend to required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain patient safety by accurate dispensing and label accuracy.
• Assist as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Support immunization services and patient engagement.
• Oversee inventory and cold chain management across stores.
