Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover scheduling gaps across the district and support pharmacy teams. You will travel to stores, ensure safe dispensing, and act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed.

As a part-time DSP, you will support immunizations, coaching of technicians, and adherence to policies while delivering compassionate care in CVS Retail locations across the district.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee the pharmacy operations.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following established procedures.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Contribute to patient experiences by delivering compassionate care and coaching the pharmacy team.
• Support immunizations and vaccination services where permissible.
