Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy teams across the district. You will help manage patient care, oversee dispensing, immunizations, and daily operations in stores within the district, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, an active NPI, and the ability to travel. Eligible for a CVS Health benefits package and a part-time schedule with weekend attendance expectations.

Qualifications

Active pharmacist license in the state where the store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Live CVS Health values by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling and immunizations.
Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled and support the Pharmacy Manager’s duties.
Support safe prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
Provide compassionate care and coach the pharmacy team to resolve insurance and medication issues.
