Qualifications
- Minnesota Director of Special Education license and valid teaching license in special education or related field.
- At least three years of teaching and/or administrative experience, including supervision.
- Master's degree in special education instruction or related field.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Principals, Special Education Lead, and staff to ensure due process rights for students.
- Develop and implement special and general education curriculum, instruction, and assessment using evidence-based practices.
- Supervise licensed staff, paraprofessionals, and support personnel; provide professional learning.
- Monitor budget expenditures for Special Education programs with district finance support.
- Provide leadership on conflict resolution among staff, parents, and agencies.
