Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a District Service Manager for the New Orleans area. You will lead Account Managers and Technicians, manage the district P&L, and align resources to meet service, repair, and energy solution project objectives.

The role requires 6+ years in HVAC service with 4+ years of people leadership, plus a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Expect a competitive base salary and incentive opportunities, with a hybrid on-site/work-from-office model in New Orleans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years related experience and/or training within the commercial HVAC service industry or parallel industry.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience both direct and/or indirect.
• Leadership experience in Service, Sales, and Operations.
• Previous experience working with financial statements and managing P&L strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans, strategies and objectives to ensure quotas and financial plans are met or exceeded.
• Develop plans and align work and resources so that customer needs, contractual obligations, and service work is completed within appropriate timeframes and meets quality expectations.
• Manage district P&L and deliver on financial goals (revenue and operating income).
• Lead Account Managers enabling growth in service and repair, complex turnkey, building automation and energy solution projects.
• Build and maintain rapport with internal and external business partners to ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved.
• Drive implementation of Daikin culture, including prioritization of safety and People-Centered Management, for the district.
• Provide leadership for the service team, including Service Coordinators, Account Managers, and Technicians.
• Coach and develop employees to maximize performance and potential.
• Recruit, interview, hire and ensure training for new employees to support ongoing skill development.
• Solicit and apply customer feedback (internal and external).
• Manage company assets and inventory to control costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure local office complies with laws and safety regulations.
