Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a full-time school nurse to support students’ health district-wide. You’ll work across multiple school buildings delivering compassionate care to students and staff, with a consistent 8:15 AM–3:15 PM schedule, plus summers and holidays off.

This contract role offers meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment. This position requires an NJ RN license with prior school-based nursing experience; you will ensure immunization compliance, maintain health records,

Qualifications

Current New Jersey School Nursing license (RN).
Prior school-based nursing experience required.
Solid knowledge of immunization protocols and regulations.
Comfort overseeing health services for entire school buildings and managing diverse caseloads.
Reliable transportation and a reasonable commute to the area.
Ability to provide TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting for onboarding.

Responsibilities

Support student health by administering first aid, medications, and regular care.
Maintain accurate health records and ensure immunization compliance.
Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families.
Oversee daily health office operations across multiple school sites.
Respond to health emergencies and coordinate with school staff as needed.
Foster a caring, inclusive environment for all students.
