Position: District Sales Manager

The District Sales Manager will direct activities and supervise one or more sales supervisors, with a total team of 10 account managers covering Oklahoma, Northwest Texas, and Dallas/Ft. Worth markets.

This position will be home-based in the Grand Prairie, TX area, with about 30%-50% travel expected.

Essential Functions
  1. Lead, motivate, develop, and coach a sales team.
  2. Execute performance management and improvement activities for direct reports.
  3. Develop and execute action plans for the district and individual account managers to achieve growth objectives, including new accounts, revenue, and margin improvement.
  4. Conduct weekly cadence calls with the account manager team.
  5. Implement company and Business Unit strategic initiatives.
  6. Manage supplier partner relationships.
  7. Assist with inventory management and collaborate with internal customer service and credit teams.
Experience, Education, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or related field.
  • Fluid Power Certification (CFPS / FPS) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience in value-add Fluid Power components and solutions.
  • 3+ years of supervisory/management experience of an outside sales team.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, develop, and manage a sales team.
  • Ability to improve productivity and help account managers increase sales.
  • P&L familiarity, including working with budgets, forecasts, and sales reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Valid driver's license is a must.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
