Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

We are seeking a District Sales Manager, commonly known as an Outside Sales Representative, to create and expand sales for our San Francisco Bay Area branches. As a District Sales Manager, you are key to the growth and development of new and existing customer relationships. You’ll also be a bridge between customers and our engineering team with a focus on facilitating a smooth buying process for each customer. This position can be based out of our San Jose or San Leandro branch.

Responsibilities

  • Selling drywall, steel framing products and construction industry accessories
  • Establishing, developing, and managing customer relationships
  • Facilitating the sales process with every customer
  • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies to target new customers; including cold calling and job site visits
  • Providing technical support to customers
  • Communicating with customers regularly to discuss their specific needs, make recommendations and resolve service concerns
  • Working with engineers, architects and in-house personnel to help define project requirements

Qualifications

  • College degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience as a sales professional
  • Strong construction industry knowledge and familiarity with drywall and steel stud products
  • Proven experience in business and sales development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Superior written, verbal communication and public speaking skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Valid driver’s license
