Job summary

Oishii is seeking a District Sales Lead to support the Regional Sales Manager in maintaining premium merchandising standards and building store relationships. This field-based role travels across the region with admin duties for inventory, orders, and reporting.

You will lead in-store demos, seeding and trainings, manage inventory levels, and collaborate on market opportunities. A startup mindset and strong communication are essential for success.

We grow the world’s BEST Strawberries & that wouldn’t be possible without our Field Sales Team!As part of our Commercial Team, the District Sales Lead (DSL) supports the Regional Sale Manager (RSM) in maintaining premium merchandising standards on-shelf, store team education and relationship development. On a daily basis you will gather insights from retail/field/consumers that will inform Oishii sales/marketing tactics, and will ensure consistent inventory is maintained in store.What you’ll be responsible for:90% Field-Based: Primarily in-store with an assigned store group; travel across the region as business needs require10% Administrative: Order and inventory oversight per store, demo planning and preparation in coordination with the RSM and HQ, reporting field and consumer insights internally, and supporting the RSM in maintaining a centralized calendar of demo and field activity for visibility and budgeting purposesMaintain consistent inventory levels across all assigned stores, providing guidance to store teams on product orders (POs) and ensuring each location submits POs on a weekly basis; monitor and minimize shrink (unsold product) to below 10% across the districtUphold Oishii merchandising standards on-shelf, as defined by RSM and Oishii leadership, through weekly visits to each store in the districtComplete post-visit reports via GoSpotCheck (mobile reporting platform) after each store visit; partner with the RSM to develop solutions for market challenges and act on identified opportunitiesBuild and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at each store location, including produce team members and other department leads, to drive brand awareness and excitement through seeding, sampling, in-store employee events, and product trainingsSupport the RSM in identifying and executing field activations aligned with the company's marketing agendaAssist the RSM with business development initiatives, including lead identification, distributor ride-alongs, and sample drops with prospective customersMay be required to work at our retail kiosk as needed, including scheduled selling days and eventsWho will love this job: Individuals who identify with our Core Values and exhibit skills within those values will thrive at Oishii.One Team, One Fight!Ability to quickly shift priorities to meet deadlines and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely and with purpose at various levels of the organization.Ability to work cross functionally at all levels including across locations, and collaborate with a focus on supporting & understanding the evolving business needs of a startup environment.Ability to lead through others and develop teams with a diverse level of experience to succeed.Focus.Ability to remove obstacles in order to prioritize which could include problem solving, working through ambiguity and using fact based or sound judgment in the absence of process or policy.
