Job summary

Dunham’s Sports is seeking a Retail District Manager to lead all stores within the district, with full P&L responsibility and alignment to company goals. The role covers Tennessee and surrounding areas, focusing on sales growth, inventory excellence, and operational compliance.

The role requires proven retail leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across multiple stores. On-site work across the district is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of retail management experience with multi-unit ops and full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Big-box retail management experience or equivalent education/experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze district sales results and trends to increase sales.
• Maintain inventory mix and presentation to maximize sales in each store.
• Recruitment and selection of hourly and management associates.
• Control payroll hours and conduct store audits.
• Monitor inventory shrink across the district.
• Maintain high level of customer service through interactions with associates and customers.
• Train and develop hourly and management staff within district.
• Fair administration of HR policies and practices.
• Achieve district annual sales targets.
• Plan and execute company objectives.
• Protect company assets via expense controls and loss prevention.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Communicate district, regional, and company priorities effectively.
