Qualifications

• The position requires a valid California Driver's License (CDL).
• A Background Investigation must be cleared prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the District Resource Management Program and staff (up to 13 professionals/technical staff).
• Provides leadership across Forestry, Vegetation, Watershed and Wildlife programs.
• Coordinates scientific permits, CEQA review, wildfire planning, Maximo and project development; manages budgets and grants.
• Represents the District on inter-agency projects and prepares reports and presentations.
