Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations across stores within the district. You will travel to fill shifts, assist with scheduling, and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy when needed.

In this role you will help ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with the healthcare team, while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws. The position is 20 hours weekly with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager's duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate care and resolve insurance/medication issues.
