Job summary

CVS Health is hiring District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district, supporting Pharmacy Managers and leading pharmacy teams. You will help ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services while traveling to assigned stores.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; oversee the pharmacy and serve as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Provide patient care through counseling, immunizations, and coordination with the healthcare team.
