Job summary

CVS Health in Utah is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to help manage pharmacy operations across stores, cover shifts, and support the Pharmacy Manager. You will model our values, ensure safe dispensing, and foster a patient-centered team.

You will immunize, supervise staff, optimize inventory, and uphold compliance with state and federal laws while delivering compassionate care to patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
Oversee pharmacy operations and act as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts.
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
Assume Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
Contribute to positive patient experiences by coaching the pharmacy team in compassionate care and resolving insurance/medication issues.
Deliver immunizations and support Pharmacists and Technicians to learn immunization skills.
Manage pharmacy inventory with best practices and protect cold chain products.
