Job summary

CVS Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support district-wide store operations and staffing. You will help oversee dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices while covering shifts as needed.

Travel within the district and act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, ensuring compliance with CVS policies, patient safety, and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacist scheduling across stores in the district.
• Cover pharmacist shifts as scheduled, acting as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.
• Oversee workflow procedures and safety guardrails at all workstations.
• Provide clinical support including testing and prescribing services where permitted.
