Job summary

Waco ISD is seeking a Coordinator - PE to provide leadership and coordination for physical education and pre-athletic programs across all campuses. This role includes developing a curriculum that promotes physical literacy and managing logistics across 16 campuses.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree, valid Texas PE license, and at least 5 years of teaching or coaching experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of the district's athletic culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching/coaching experience.
• Proven experience in a leadership or coordinator role.
• Demonstrated competency in core academic subject areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor K-12 PE curriculum.
• Support PE teachers and coaches with instructional strategies.
• Coordinate and align middle and high school programs.

Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

Valid Texas PE teaching certificate
