Job summary

CORE Electric Cooperative seeks an experienced leader to manage district operations under the Regional Operations Manager. You will supervise teams, drive construction and service delivery, and uphold CORE's safety standards while coordinating budgets and community engagement.

Required are extensive electric utility sector experience, leadership ability, and a strong track record in supervision and operational decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Utility Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in the electric utility industry.
• Journeyman Lineman certification and field leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and safety regulations; great leadership and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs district operations and administration under the Regional Operations Manager.
• Implements plans, supervises employees, and achieves goals through delegation and motivation.
• Train employees and ensure safety program participation and awareness.
• Coordinate construction and service work, including scheduling and target dates.
• Maintain district warehouse inventory for regular and emergency work.
• Resolve consumer complaints and represent CORE in community activities.
• Prepare the district annual budget and work plan; monitor performance against goals.
