The City of Santa Fe Springs is seeking a capable administrator for the district office, overseeing staff and coordinating day-to-day operations. The role is 100% onsite with duties spanning policy implementation, staff supervision, and office infrastructure maintenance.
Qualifications include a BA degree with 2–4 years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and reliability in a fast-paced government
Performs a variety of management and administrative duties which may include supervising office staff and coordinating and overseeing activities of the district office staff.
This position is 100% onsite and is not eligible for Telework.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from accredited four-year college or university; and two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Members, co-workers, and the general public. Ability to detect and correct grammatical errors.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to complete tasks in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Legislative Data Processing Center legislative software applications on a personal computer.
Ability to get along with others and work effectively as a team player. Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time. Ability to perform under strict deadlines.

Commensurate with experience, this position has an approved salary range of $54,421.75 to $73,471.50. What is your salary expectation?
