Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with major in a related field; or degree with state certificate for school nutrition directors; or degree with relevant experience in school nutrition.
• Knowledge of planning, preparing, cooking, serving foods and managing a large school lunch program with federal/state forms.
• Knowledge of requisitioning food and following purchasing procedures; familiarity with child nutrition rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a district-wide food service operation and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal nutrition regulations and district policy.
• Collaborate with schools, district leadership, and community partners to run an effective nutrition program.
