Responsibilities
  • Develop KONE’s position and customer base in the market.
  • Drive proactive engagement and solution selling with different customer segments, showing value over the lifecycle.
  • Develop customer relationships, profitability, customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers, potential targets and influencers.
  • Promote and demonstrate the value of KONE digital offerings.
  • Be responsible for District and Individual Sales Plans (ISPs) for the team.
  • Participate in market and customer analysis to inform sales planning; participate in pricing and offering management to drive profitability.
  • Gather information about competitors and the market from the field; identify cross-selling opportunities across all KONE solutions.
  • Drive execution of the individual sales plan, including proactive/consultative customer visits (where applicable).
  • Lead the Sell process, including CRM data quality for contacts, customers, influencers, opportunity management, and win/loss reporting.
  • Ensure results within orders, contracts, profitability and market price development; set sales targets according to market potential and unit guidelines.
  • Drive short- and long-term sales results for the team; advise on pricing guidelines for the area.
  • Lead the sales team to be proactive with customers, use KONE solution selling methodology and communicate value to customers’ performance.
  • Coach team members to achieve better results through ongoing dialogue and sharing of best practices; manage performance and develop sales team competencies.
  • Motivate and inspire the team and individuals to high performance; ensure a great onboarding experience for new employees; plan for succession within the team.
  • Work with the AME Modernization team to drive process improvements and support data analysis.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical sales and sales leadership experience, preferably in service or technical sales, or 7+ years of relevant experience in a comparable industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in a relevant field.

Compensation

The compensation package offered will depend on the ability to meet the requirements of the role and various factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and location. Hiring ranges for applicable areas include:

  • Denver, CO / Englewood, CO / Houston, TX / Coppell, TX: $171,600 – $235,900
  • Phoenix, AZ / Irving, TX / Salt Lake City, UT: $160,300 – $220,400
  • San Antonio, TX: $152,300 – $209,400

Variable Compensation: KONE’s annual bonus plan based on achievement of company and individual goals.
