Job description

About the Position

The District Manager Sales and Operations - Commercial Tire Service Center (CTSC) will oversee operations within an assigned region for Goodyear CTSCs. The role involves leading sales efforts by example, executing the Target Account Process, and implementing the Goodyear CTSC Business Strategy. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, mentoring center management teams, and partnering with leadership to identify opportunities across various operational areas. The position covers the West Central territory—California, Nevada, and Colorado.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Operational Leadership: Develop and execute the district's Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monitor key processes, manage day-to-day operations and P&L, and share best practices.
  2. Associate Management: Lead the selection, development, and motivation of management staff, provide ongoing feedback, and address performance issues.
  3. Communication: Monitor market dynamics, communicate intelligence and recommendations, and oversee audits and process improvements.
  4. Strategic Planning and Development: Foster a customer-centric culture, promote Goodyear as a brand and employer of choice, analyze competitor activity, and develop future strategies.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (10 years).
  • At least 5 years managing sales or operational teams.
  • Proven ability to meet AOP objectives and operating targets.
  • Willingness to travel 40-60%.

  • Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

The salary range is $118,182 - $219,478 per year, depending on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, paid time off, and tire discounts.
