Job summary

Vintners Distributors Inc. is seeking a District Manager in Union City, CA to oversee a cluster of 11–13 stores with $10–$15 million in revenue.

You will work closely with store operators to implement corporate and merchandising strategies, driving growth in fuel and car wash sales across the assigned list. You will be the critical link ensuring headquarters plans become reality on the shop floor, while communicating store needs back to the corporation and guiding management teams to operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 3–5 years management experience or 2+ years multi-unit management experience.
• Retail, sales or customer service background preferred.
• Must be able to drive and travel.
• On-call work schedule as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Constant standing, bending and reaching required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 11–13 company operated stores with $10–$15 million in revenue.
• Develop, update and execute annual budgets and business plans with store operators.
• Monitor store operations, providing coaching and guidance to management.
• Promote efficiency to maximize store profitability.
• Ensure key processes through store visits, evaluations and data analysis.
• All other duties as assigned.
