Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a District Manager to lead multi-unit operations in West and Central New York, with a focus on safety, financial performance and curriculum implementation. Travel to assigned Schools is required at least 75% of time, including onsite coaching of Directors and Assistant Directors.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for the District Manager position.
• Must meet standards/requirements relating to education and experience as set by state and accreditation agent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, business or related field.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of multi-unit management experience in service, retail, hospitality, healthcare or education.
• Must be able to communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Must be able to drive and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted financial goals and other business metrics.
• Monitor School budgets and business metrics; communicate financial best practices.
• Develop local marketing strategies to maximize enrollment and revenue; build community partnerships.
• Coach Directors and Assistant Directors on education/curriculum programs; travel to schools at ~75% of working time.
• Monitor licensing standards, school cleanliness, layout and employee file retention; instruct Directors on regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure policy compliance at schools; spot-check classrooms and environments.
• Support accreditation efforts with Education Department and Accreditation Team.
• Recruit and develop local talent; identify future leaders within the district.
• Address performance concerns with Directors/Assistant Directors; maintain positive leadership.
• Foster a positive work environment and ensure a high-quality learning environment.
