Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a District Manager to lead the growth of its multi-unit Schools within a district serving West and Central New York.

You will supervise Directors, drive financial results, and ensure safety and compliance while coaching leaders in curriculum implementation. The role requires weekly on-site supervision, travel about 75% of time, and collaboration with accreditation and education teams.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for the District Manager position.
• Must meet all standards and requirements relating to education and experience as set by the state and accreditation agent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, business or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in multi-unit management in service, retail, hospitality, healthcare or education (preferred).
• Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must be able to drive and pass Company and state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted financial goals and other business metrics.
• Monitor School budgets and communicate financial best practices to partners.
• Develop local marketing strategies to maximize enrollment and revenue.
• Coach Directors/Assistant Directors on education and curriculum programs; travel to Schools ~75% of time.
• Monitor licensing standards, School cleanliness, and employee files during on-site visits.
• conduct annual safety audits and report any issues.
• Support accreditation efforts with relevant teams.
• Recruit and retain talent across the district; identify future leaders.
• Address performance concerns promptly and uphold a positive work environment.
• Ensure high-quality childcare and customer satisfaction across Schools.
• Lead School leadership to align with company mission and values.
