Job summary

Paris Baguette - Support Office (SoCal) is seeking a District Manager to lead a growing US district. You will drive revenue growth, guest experience, and talent development across cafe managers and franchise partnerships.

The ideal candidate has extensive retail and multi-site leadership experience, strong P&L and training expertise, and a passion for coaching teams in a fast-paced environment. This role requires travel to current and prospective locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of progressive related experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues.
• At least 3 to 5 years of progressive management experience managing teams.
• Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
• Thorough knowledge of working Point of Sale (POS) register systems, Toast experience preferred.
• Strong Inventory Planning and Management skills required.
• P&L capability and sales/marketing skills and abilities.
• Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible management style with a track record of managing senior operations leaders across a large decentralized portfolio.
• Passion for people, empowering and developing team members.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Feedback as a gift with open, transparent performance culture.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to manage diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning, implementation and follow-up initiatives among the team of managers in their market.
• Oversee corporate café operations and talent management including recruitment, retention and development.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to operations team in their market.
• Identify training needs of cafe managers and coordinate with training teams.
• Facilitate training with franchisee teams as appropriate.
• Create a mentoring environment focused on ongoing team development.
• Assist owners and GMs to ensure processes to manage performance and training compliance.
• Ensure standards are communicated and executed at cafe level.
• Develop and monitor sales and marketing plans aligned with district goals.
• Evaluate cafe financial progress and develop action plans accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with food, beverage, safety and sanitation policies.
• Maintain facilities through preventive maintenance programs.
• Adapt to varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
