Job summary

Family Dollar in California is seeking a District Manager to lead at least 15 store teams across the assigned area. You will drive profitability, oversee merchandising, operations, and expense control, and coach store managers to meet business objectives.

You'll foster a collaborative, inclusive environment and source, hire, and develop district leadership while ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer service. This role requires up to 50% travel and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 5+ years retail experience with at least 2 years of multi-store leadership.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to analyze, organize and present information.
• Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
• HR and asset protection knowledge.

• Champion a customer-first mindset across the district, setting high and consistent standards.
