Job summary

Synergen seeks a District Manager for the Hydroline division in the Haynesville District, based in Bossier City, Louisiana. You will oversee operations across the district, drive safety, quality, and DOT compliance, and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting financial goals.

You will lead a 24/7 pumping operations team, recruit and develop staff, coordinate logistics with the Commercial/Sales team, and report on district performance with a focus on operational excellence and strong team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in management and oil and gas services.
  • Valid driver’s license that allows driving a vehicle with GVWR 10,001 lb+.
  • Knowledge of machines, tools, including their design, use, repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership abilities.
  • Clear communication to safely and efficiently complete tasks with the team.
  • Willing to lead by example, teach, motivate, and mentor team members.
  • Drive a culture where equipment/work is organized, clean, and presentable.

We are actively seeking a District Manager at Hydroline, a Synergen company, for the Haynesville District located in Bossier City, Louisiana. This position is responsible for overseeing all operations within the assigned district. They embrace the company’s core values, foster a positive culture that empowers its people, and ensure customer satisfaction. They lead a safe, compliant and efficient operation that meets the company’s financial goals.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Ensure the team is adequately planning and coordinating logistics
  • Ensure adherence to company and customer standards and expectations around safety, quality and DOT compliance
  • Oversee and manage all pumping jobs while constantly checking in with employees on all work shifts (operations are around the clock/24 hours a day) via phone, text, apps, and in person
  • Complete and send periodic customer specific reports by a predetermined deadline
  • Provide leadership and oversight to operations, special projects, equipment, and facilities
  • Establish goals and expectations for direct reports and evaluate their performance regularly
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with company objectives and strive to deliver operational excellence while ensuring a safe work environment
  • Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of a talented workforce
  • Ensure direct reports understand the importance of mentoring and training on company standards and expectations
  • Consistently engage with customers to understand their expectations and ensure they are being met
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and a simpler approach to conducting our business
  • Ensure the district demonstrates a positive image to our employees, customers, industry, and communities in which we work
  • Familiarize self, understand, and take ownership for the district’s financial statements
  • Work with the Commercial / Sales Team to assist with job bidding and execution of work to be performed
  • Ensure direct reports keep track of assets and equipment on each project and the yard
  • Be proficient in working with KMZ files within the Google Earth application and company specific Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Excel basics, and daily billables
A qualified applicant must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • 5+ years of experience in management and oil and gas services
  • Current Driver’s License that allows driving a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds or greater
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Excellent and clear communication to safely and efficiently complete job tasks with team members
  • Willing and able to lead by example, teach, motivate, and mentor team members, and execute daily goals
  • Drive a culture where equipment and work is organized, clean, and presentable
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Also includes working outdoors in elements/weather.
