Job summary

Houchens Food Group in Bowling Green, KY seeks a District Manager to lead two to ten stores, directing daily operations, budgeting, staffing, and policy execution to meet sales and profit targets.

You will recruit, train and supervise store managers and staff, monitor performance, control expenses, implement merchandising and customer service programs, and maintain compliance with company standards. Overtime and travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• No experience required.
• Ability to train, motivate and supervise management and/or employees to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution.
• Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign duties.
• Review financial statements, sales reports and other performance data to drive improvements.
• Establish and implement policies, goals, and procedures with staff.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment and performance management for store teams.
• Develop and implement product merchandising and promotions.
