The Cedar Rapids Community School District is seeking interpreters to facilitate communication during conferences and individual education plans (IEPs) for families. Applicants should be fluent in multiple languages, including Pohnpeian, Haitian Creole, Nepali, and Kirundi/Kinyarwanda.
This position involves maintaining confidential student information and providing unbiased support during interactions. Compensation is set at $25/hour, with work on an on-call basis.
The program will support families as they engage in their current school’s experience as well as exposing them to higher education opportunities.
